Pec Stretches Cedar City Chiropractic and Rehabilitation

Cedar City Chiropractic in Cedar City Utah. There's more than just the neck and back to treat. So I'm going to show you why pecs can be a problem for the body. We've all been in the gym where you see those big buff guys who have those massive pecs, but their arms are pulled forward almost like they have those gorilla arms where we just see the back of their hands. That's not good. It'll wear out the front part of your shoulder joint because that shoulder is just so far forward and it stretches out the those back muscles that need to be nice and tight to help with good posture. So I'm going to show you a quick PEC stretch. So what you do with your hands is you put [them on] a good doorway take a step through the doorway you want in your hands about waist high and just you're going to keep your chest out and lean forward till you feel good stretch right in there and then to make sure we get a full stretch out those pecs you're gonna bring your hands about chest high and lean forward and you're stretching about anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds just depending on how tight they are and then you're gonna do it head high and then once again lean forward. Don't go down like this but keep the chest out as you stretch it. Thanks and follow up with us in a little bit and we'll show you how to strengthen up those back muscles. Thanks and have a great day and give us a call if you have any questions. Or if you like set appointment with us at 867-6354. And check out Thanks!
